Whoa. My friend went all ballistic texting me that if I was going to post a blonde rocker girl on The Daily Blonde, I should have posted the blonde rocker girl, make that the most famous blonde rocker girl of all time, Debbie Harry of Blondie. Some fans of the band have always felt that Debbie Harry was Blondie, even though the group stated that the name didn’t represent Debbie Harry or her signature blonde hair, but instead was a marketing ploy to put Blondie’s records right after the Beatles alphabetically in the record stores. So to keep my friend from texting repeatedly me till I right my wrong, today’s Daily Blonde is Deborah Harry of Blondie.

Debbie Harry started out in the New York City punk music scene in her teens, but to pay the bills, she took a job as a Playboy Bunny at the New York City Playboy Club and worked there from 1968 – 1973. The television show Playboy Club recently debuted to snarling criticism over its inaccurate portrayals of the Playboy Bunny cocktail waitresses working in the Playboy Club back in the gentleman’s club heyday. Perhaps the producers of Playboy Club should have consulted with Debbie Harry before launching the show. Debbie Harry hadn’t gone blonde yet while working as a Playboy Bunny. Aly Michalka is a blonde rocker girl who plays guitar in her band, sings and acts. This blonde “triple threat” (singer, musician, actress) has done numerous television shows and feature films as well as released music as a solo artist and with her sister, Amanda. Aly and Amanda’s records have reached platinum sales status, which means that they’ve sold over a million copies of their recordings. Aly’s most recent television series gig was on the CW’s Hellcats which was canceled after only one season, unfortunately. Rumors on the tv show cancellation centered on the writer’s strike and that the series had struggled to find an audience. A friend emailed to inform me that The Daily Blonde had a big gap in blonde representation, because The Daily Blonde hadn’t featured a hot blonde porn star yet. I’d actually been thinking about putting up a photo of blonde porn star Jenna Jameson from the 90′s, back when she was hot, back in time before she blew her tits way out of proportion to her physique and had her face poked with needles to plump lips and fill cracks.
